Haveli Braj Bhusanji
Haveli Braj Bhushanji was
built 50 years ago and belongs to a family Which gave the princely state
of Bundi four prime
ministers. The Haveli is situated on the road to the palace and the
terrace of this building allow one magnificent view of the city palace ,
the fort as well as the city. Built in the traditional Rajasthani style,
this four storeyed Haveli has a lot of open spaces and courtyards and the
rooms are large and airy. The haveli's convenient location enables the
visitors to visit other places of the city easily. The Clock Tower which
is secured by guards and evokes memories of old grandeur and splendour.
The rooms have been
refurbished with exquisite soft-furnishings and the bathrooms have been
made ultra-modern keeping in mind the needs of the modern day travellers.
The Haveli Braj Bhushanjistill today commands a grand view. It is a
monument of the glorious past, a vista of bygone times, covering almost a
century of changes ups and downs. It is indeed the 'Crowning Glory' of
Bundi's forts and palaces.
The four storeyed building of Haveli Brij Bhushan Ji dates back to the
time immemorial. It still preserves the quaint old world charm and has
been renovated without causing any harm or distortion to the old
architect. It offers breathtaking views of the fort and has ample open
space in shape of courtyards and terraces.

Ishwari Bhawan
It was built during the
reign of Maharao Ishwari Singh to house the
dewan of Bundi. It was later turned into a guest house and today it is
also the residence of Maharao's brother Maharaj Kesri Singh. A seventy
year old building is the combination of Indian as well as European style
of architecture. The rooms inside have been furnished comfortably and all
modern amenities have been provided. Spend your evening sitting around the
fountain, under the star-studded sky of Rajasthan.
In 1945, it was
handed over to Kesari Singh, the maharaja's brother, for his residence.
The Haveli is built in a very traditional fashion - 20 spacious rooms
around a courtyard where tables and chairs are arranged around a small
fountain for the guests to lounge.
