Built just before independence, this fortified complex sprawls in the Indo-Rajput style, and its surrounding, green countryside provide a haven for birds, while peacocks can be seen sauntering through the garden. The village is a center for crafts such as leather work and carpet weaving.

Dhamli fort a sprawling monument built over sixty years ago, is a blend of rajput and European architecture surrounded by a wide expanse of green lawns, it is a very peaceful place except for the sound of peacocks and other birds it attracts. Relaxing in the balcony with a view of the activities of the village surrounding it is a pleasant experience. All modern facilities have been created in the fort having elegantly furnished rooms in spite of its rural setting. Trips to the village can be interesting as the village specialises in leather crafts, carpet weaving. Festive seasons like holi (march) and dussera (september) bring in more color and fun to the village.
