Heritage Hotels In Danta                             Danta Dera Kila

Danta town is situated at the foothills of Aravalli hill range. The landscape of forest and hills, with huge boulders, makes a perfect setting for this town. The entire region is populated by the Bhil tribe and has forests with diverse flora and fauna.

Danta lies 48km south of Sikar and was originally a part of Mewar before becoming a part of Shekavati in the mid-17th century. There are two grand forts here with the stunning residential wing having been built in the 18th century and this part is now the hotel where you stay. The architecture is fascinating and combines both Mughal and Rajput art and styles making it fun to explore.

Built in a combination of Rajput and Mughal architecture, this has now been converted into a hotel. Large spacoius rooms have been given modern touches, keeping the guest comfort in mind. Huge open terraces invite peacocks and pigeons and it is quite normal to wake up to the sound of peacocks. Evenings are enjoyable under the stars with local musicians playing for entertainment.
