Daspan, enroute visiting jailor Fort Daspan was founded in 1713 AD by grant of a jagir of two villages from the then ruler of Marwar. Upon arrival check-in at Castle Durjan Niwas, built in the early 19th century. Though built in the Indo European style, it adapts itself well to the Rajput life style, with the ladies apartments being separated from the gents apartments.
